Remote Ice Fall

Not far from Seoul, we offer a few fantastic ice climbing venues that many know little about. Novice and intermediate climbers alike now have the opportunity to go where very few other foreigners have had the chance to climb. Be one of the few, be one of the adventurous, come and discover what so few other visitors get the chance to do.

IGK offers plenty of vertical action on the ice. Not only can we take you to a remote ice fall, but IGK guides take you up three pitches or over 120 meters of ice!

The day begins with a pick up of our client(s) at an agreed upon location followed by an hour drive. An IGK guide will give a clear outline of the day's events to come upon arrival to the mountain.

After the brisk thirty minute hike up to the ice fall, our guides will review gear, tools and some basic instruction on ice climbing techniques via top-rope followed by an exciting and exposed 3-pitch climb to the top!

From the lofty breath-taking heights of ice fall summit, photos and a ten minute coffee break will taken before setting up for the thrilling rappel back to the deck and the relaxing hike back out of the wilderness.
