Gugok Ice Fall
Hidden in a deep valley of shadows, Gugok Pokpo is just a few hours from the outskirts of Seoul and is one of many an ice climber's dream and an exciting training ground for Himalayan expedition alpinists. Gugok Ice Fall is exactly sixty meters in length and over forty meters of vertical and overhung ice!
After an early morning start from Seoul, IGK guides take the sharp end to the top. After all members of the party have ascended safely to the top, the climb will be followed by a sixty meter abseil via pre-fixed lines.
