Trad Climbing Course

Traditional Climbing or "Trad" is the classic way to ascend crags, big walls and peaks by placing and removing natural protection. Our Traditional Climbing Course takes climbers where sport climbs can't. A genuine challenge for most, Trad not only challenges a combination of raw strength and technical skills up cracks, chimneys, laybacks and slab, but it also exercises the wits in the realm of placing technical protection, fixing anchors, and returning safely to ground.

All participants are required to have done our Intermediate and Sport Climbing courses or have equivalent knowledge and skills. All climbing gear is provided by IGK.
