Intermediate Rock Climbing Course

INTERMEDIATE COURSE

The Intermediate Climbing Course is more "hands-on" than the Beginner Course and is for those who want to take a more active and more comprehensive role in rock climbing. Our instructors teach the necessary knowledge needed to be a contributing member in a climbing team. After completion of the course, climbers will be able to join lead climbers and to 'second' rock climbs.
This course is suited for those who have basic or limited experience and want to expand their climbing skills. One day and two day sessions are available, and IGK provides all the necessary equipment.

One Day Climbing Course

One-day sessions cover all the basic principles of climbing:

• Lead Belay Techniques
• Multi-Pitch Belay Techniques
• Cleaning Trad & Sport Routes
• Anchor Change-over
• Setting-Up Rappels
• Abseiling Techniques

Two Day Climbing Course

Two-day sessions cover all of the above. In addition, climbers are given the opportunity to further practice newly acquired skills under the personal supervision of our guides and camp in serene Korean mountains.
