CLIMBING INSTRUCTION & COURSES

IGK climbing courses are for everyone. We offer several courses in fundamental rock climbing skills for beginners and more advanced technical skills required for multi-pitch and alpine style climbs. So, whether you are a complete novice who is curious about what all this rock climbing stuff is really about or you are climber who wants to improve or refresh your skills, we have the climbing course for you.

We offer Beginning and Intermediate, Trad, Ice and Multi-pitch courses for anyone interested. Our courses are taught at a 1:3 guide to client ratio to teach, develop and maximize your skills and techniques.

Our Climbing Courses

We provide guides and equipment to accommodate your needs seven days a week, by appointment. The rock climbing season is from March through November, but we offer courses all-year round.

Simply call or e-mail us and we can schedule you on the day of your choice. We can accommodate you easily with at least a week's notice. Anything less than a week, we cannot guarantee you a guide, but we'll do our best. You need no prior experience to climb with IGK.
