IGK INTRO ICE COURSE & TOP-ROPE COURSE EVALUATION

Were the correspondences with your guides/instructors previous to the course difficult? Please explain below: - Not at all. Everything was timely and informative.

What aspects of the course were particularly difficult? How could your guide/ instructor have remedied this? Please explain: -- The instruction for the Intro Ice Course was very good, but the names of each technique got lost a bit. The Top Rope Course was excellent and we have no complaints.

What parts of the course were particularly rewarding? Please explain: -Going from being intimidated by the looks of the waterfalls (for both courses) to climbing up them with relative ease was a great feeling of accomplishment.

At anytime did you feel uncomfortable or unsafe with the course? Please explain: During the Intro Course I felt very confident in the instruction and safety measures. During the Top Rope Course, I did feel a bit nervous when my friend was belaying me up the waterfall, but after a couple of minutes that subsided.

Were you confident with your guides/instructors? Did they satisfy your expectations? Please explain: -Yes, both courses and instructors exceeded my expectations with regards to technical explanations and safety measures.

Did you feel the course was well organized? Were there any aspects of the course that you felt needed improving? Please explain: -If possible, a pamphlet at the end of the course with key terms and techniques would be great.

Did you learn and do all that you expected? Were there any parts you felt were missing from the course? Please explain: -I think that we learned much more than expected. I had no idea we would be going over anchors at all.

From a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being most positive, what is your overall impression with the course? -10

Did you feel the course was an overall rewarding or negative experience? Please elaborate below: -This course was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. I have always wanted to learn how to climb, but never really knew where to look or how to get started. I would confidently recommend these courses to anyone, as the instruction and effort of the instructors are exemplary.
